This project represents a major step towards improving the company’s production processes through the implementation of automation systems.
The objective of the project was to replace the obsolete PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and HMIs (human-machine interfaces) with new Omron solutions, as well as to integrate them with the existing SCADA system. This would allow us to improve the efficiency, reliability and ease of use of the system.
Scope of the project:
- Replacement of PLCs and HMIs in critical areas such as ovens, batching, shipping and compounding, using Omron and Weintek equipment.
- Programming and configuration of new devices to optimize and improve existing functionality.
- Integration with SCADA system for more efficient control and monitoring.
- Updated technical documentation to reflect changes in the system.
- Start-up and training of company personnel to ensure a smooth transition.
